Concrete looks tough but it’s actually full of tiny holes. Spills soak right in. Hydraulic oil from machinery, concrete dust, paint drops. Once it’s in there it’s not coming out with a hose.
Council wants the whole site cleaned up for final inspection. They mean properly cleaned, not just swept. Sometimes they knock back handovers because external areas look rough.
Regular garden hose does nothing. You need proper pressure cleaning gear for concrete. Different pressure settings for different surfaces, right detergents, someone who knows what they’re doing.
Most times clients end up needing to find someone afterwards. Since we’re Melbourne based and don’t do cleaning, we can’t really recommend local operators without creating conflicts. Easier if they know about this upfront. Couple hundred bucks usually, depending what needs doing. Better than looking at stained concrete for years.
